One ‘Savalaksha Deep Yagya’ and first ‘Sahitya Mela’ was conducted on 24th April, 2002 at Halar Talao, Valsad and with that ‘Gayatri Chetna Kendra’ came into existence. The Kendra is conducting various activities and performing programes for the betterment of the society. It includes following activities.
Help in earthquake : More than 30 trucks rescue materials collected with the help of various Social Institutions in Valsad and sent at the time of 2001 earthquake in Kuchha, Guajarat.
Help in flood : Sent number of volunteers and food packets at time of flood in Tapi, Surat. Sent kambals, food packets, water bottles, medicines etc. at the time of flood in Kaprada, Valsad District.
Education & Knowledge (Siksha & Vidya): Since last 10 years the trust is running one adarsh boarding school at Kaprada, the most adivashi area of Gujarat. Conducting Bharatiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha in various schools of Valsad District since 15 years, in which more than 1 lac fifty thousand students participated till date. With the help of Dev Sanskriti University, conducting Yoga & Psychology camps in various schools of Valsad district.
Water Conservation : Under the water conservation programme of Shantikunj, one programme was conducted at Dr. Monghabhai Desai Hall in which ‘Jalpurush’ Dr. Rajendra Singh, was present.
Plantation : Under the Vriksha Ganga Abhiyaan of AWGP, Shantikunj, Haridwar 20,000 tress were planted on Parnera Hill with the help of Atul Ltd.
