Valsad District Gayatri Pariwar was started in the year of 1978 through its first 25 kundiya Gayatri Mahayagya at Atul, conducted under the holy blessings of Pt. Shri Ram Sharma Acharya & Mata Bhagwati Devi Sharma. And from that day Valsad Branch of All World Gayatri Pariwar came into existence. Under the guidance of AWGP various social programmes & activities like Pran Pratisha of Pragyapeeth, Shaktipeeth, 108 Kundiya Gayatri Mahayagya, Sarvadharma Sammelan, Sanakar Mhotsav etc. were conducted in proper Valsad city and various villages attached to it.

A large very group was developed and felt to develop a branch of it. As a result ‘Gayatri Pragya Pariwar Sangathan Trust’ was established in the year of 2001. The trust was registered with Charity Commissioner, Valsad, with regn. No. 2080E. The registered office of the Trust is at Gayatri Chetna Kendra, 101, Sangeeta Apartment, Halar Road, Valsad.
